Here is a soap dispenser pump that takes care of the cross contamination issue. I’m not a germ-o-phobe, but it always did kind of seem strange to me that the top of the soap dispenser in the bathroom might be one of the filthiest things you could choose to touch. Everyone reaches right over with the “contaminated” hand and presses down on the top of it. Right in the same spot every time!
The automatic motion sensor in this type of dispenser allows you to get soap dispensed into your hand without ever touching a thing. Of course these have been around in restaurants and other businesses for years, but it is nice to now be able to find a reasonably priced home model.
