Automatic Pet Water Dispenser Bergan Petite Gourmet
Having a pet is great. They do require some looking after however. If you have a busy life and can sometimes be sidetracked, this is a nice convenience item for you. This dog water dispenser (it would work for cats too) is a handy way to make sure that the pet(s) in your life never get left without something to drink because you had to work late or just forgot to check on their water bowl.
This product gets some excellent customer reviews and is popular both because of its stability and size. It is not knocked over nearly as easily as taller, less balanced designs. The fact that the container portion is not too large also seems to work in its favor. Some larger models have bottles that are so large that they become unwieldy to work with and fill. This unit holds 1.5 gallons of water, which is enough for most situations where it is going to be used as the main water supply for pets.
The Bergan Petite Gourmet water bowl is also built with a low profile. That is, it is not like a tall, unbalanced tower. The portion that holds water is small enough to fit into most sinks too. Even full, most adults can handle moving 1.5 gallons of water from sink to bowl without much of a problem.
The wide design creates more room for pet to drink and prevents tipping over. Easy to fill and clean.

This waterer holds a lot of water = 1.5 gallons! Very easy to use. I have 6 little dogs and once this is filled, it doesn't run out for about a week. What I like is that the bottom is gray so it doesn't look dirty like other ones that are lighter in color. I had previously used another similar gadget where you screw in a 2 liter bottle but once the water started coming down the pressure would make the bottle "dent in" and this does NOT do that. I have the matching food dispenser and it looks very nice. Again that holds about a weeks worth of food for my 6 little chihuahua sized dogs.
An improvement over my discontinued "igloo" waterer.....

This waterer has a smooth surface on the entire surface in which the water comes in contact. VERY easiy to clean, no rough surface, ALL areas are accessable by hand (for cleaning). Has valve in cap so when it's inverted onto the bowl it may be then be opened AFTER the water jug is inverted. Anti-microbal plastic bowl. Smaller 2.5 gallon size most practical, the jug snaps securely into the base also.
Great buy

My two cats loved tipping their old water bowl over. With this bowl it's impossible for them to tip it over. The reservoir is thick enough to hold water just fine, no reason to baby it. The base seems very durable and will last years.
The best water dispenser for multi-pet homes...

I have had a few automatic water systems. This one is by far the best one of all of them. I have several animals - including dogs and cats. They go through water pretty quickly. I have to fill this dispenser about every 2-3 days. Others had to be filled and cleaned almost daily. This holds a lot of water!
My favorite thing about this water dispenser - something that most others don't have - is that it is so easy to clean. The water bottle has a wide opening that you can fit sponge in hand completely inside. Over time these bottles can get pretty dirty. The fact that this one is so easy to clean helps me keep a fresh supply of clean water for my animals.
I can't recommend this highly enough. If mine every wears out, I'll replace it with another one exactly like this.
Big fan of this waterer

Dog loves it, I love it. My Boxer goes through water like it's whiskey. The thing to keep in mind though, it this thing does get dirty and can become a germ pool! Be sure to clean/rinse it out every other day or so!
